The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) recently acquired 12 new works for its permanent collection at no cost, thanks to the Dallas Art Fair Foundation's annual acquisition fund.
This year, the museum had $100,000 to spend and selected works from a variety of artists and galleries, including two Dallas-based artists represented by local galleries.
The new acquisitions will help bolster the representation of work by artists from the Asian, Latin America and African diasporas in the museum's collection.
The works will be put on display on a rolling basis as they fit into the museum's running program of temporary exhibitions.
