Galerie Krinzinger, founded in 1971 by art historian Dr. Ursula Krinzinger, has been a pioneering force in Vienna's contemporary art scene for over five decades. Located in the heart of Vienna, the gallery has organized at least 500 exhibitions, featuring national and international artists in solo, group, and thematic shows. The gallery's commitment to interdisciplinary, concept-oriented, and space-based approaches in a variety of media has made it a leading platform for modern and contemporary art.

The gallery represents over 40 international emerging and established artists, many of whom belong to a younger generation. The main interest and source of the gallery program stems from international performance and body-related art, as well as Viennese actionism. In recent years, the gallery has expanded its focus to include artists from Asia and the Middle East, reflecting Ursula Krinzinger’s research in these regions.

In 2015, Galerie Krinzinger moved to St. Agnes, a former Brutalist church in Berlin, which was converted into a gallery space by the renowned architect Arno Brandlhuber. The gallery hosts exhibitions in two different spaces: the former Chapel and Nave. This unique setting provides a distinctive platform for artists to exhibit their work, fostering a more intimate connection between the artwork and the viewer.

Notable exhibitions hosted by the gallery include "VIENNA NEUE KÜHLSCHRANK SHOW curated by Daniel Richter," "SIX SOLO SHOWS," and "ICON."
