Engaging the Audience: Exciting Expressions

Mazzoleni

Mazzoleni, a leading international art gallery, was founded in Turin in 1986 by Giovanni and Anna Pia Mazzoleni. The establishment of the gallery was a natural progression of their private collection, which they began curating in the 1950s. The historic Turin space, located in Palazzo Panizza, overlooks the central square 'Piazza Solferino.' In 2014, the gallery expanded its international exposure by opening a new space in Mayfair, London.

Over the past three decades, Mazzoleni has organized solo and group exhibitions of more than 200 prominent Italian and international artists. The gallery's exhibition program, of museum-calibre, is primarily focused on Post-War Italian Art. Mazzoleni works in close cooperation with artists' estates and foundations, ensuring the authenticity and quality of the artworks it showcases. Under the leadership of Davide and Luigi Mazzoleni, the gallery has expanded its activities, forging new collaborations with leading contemporary artists and promoting Italian art on a global level.

Mazzoleni is a regular participant in the main international and Italian art fairs, including Art Basel, Frieze, and TEFAF, as well as Artissima, Artefiera, and Miart. Recently, the gallery has expanded its reach towards new art scenes with its participation in Frieze Seoul, Art Abu Dhabi, and Art Dubai.

The gallery's collection has been exhibited in museums and institutions worldwide, such as the Centre Pompidou and Palais de Tokyo in Paris; the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in New York; the Smithsonian Institution in Washington; The State Ermitage Museum in St. Petersburg; Tate and the Estorick Collection in London, as well as Museo del Novecento in Florence, the GNAM in Rome, MADRE Museum in Naples, Triennale Milano and Palazzo Reale in Milan, and the Venice Biennale.

Mazzoleni stands as a beacon of post-war Italian and contemporary art in the global art scene. Its commitment to fostering artistic talent, promoting international artists, and nurturing a love for art among the public has made it a significant player in the global art scene. As it continues to evolve and expand, Mazzoleni remains dedicated to its mission of supporting and promoting the work of innovative and pioneering artists.
